Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute with 38 years experience in a commercial insurance. Presently employed as a managing clerk to a firm of solicitors.
Undertakes voluntary work a as a treasurer of Leigh Road Baptist church Housing and Welfare Association. Previously treasurer of Hadleigh Elim Pentecostal Church and befriended in Southend & District Mental Health Association.

Andrea Terry - Member since April 2008
1.1B honours, MBA, Chartered Secretary MICSA and MEMBER of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety.  Lifetime career in the NHS currently Corporate Secretary Basildon and Thurrock NHS hospital. Trained as a Haematology Biomedical Scientist and since 1990 followed a management career in the NHS holding a number of senior management, assistant director and director roles.

Rita Weiss - Member since April 2006
Cert Ed, Dip Ed Associate of College of Preceptors, Licentiate of City and Guilds. Retired head of department teacher and currently Chair SCUL and the Southend Pensioners Campaign. Previously Member London Co-op education Committee involving running youth choirs, womans guild and youth clubs. Founder campaign for Nursery education. Member community Health Council and Essex Racial Equality Council.

David Stansfield - Member Since 2006
BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering, Member of the institute of Chemical Engineers. Currently board member and treasurer SCUL, Southend Pensioner campaign and South East Essex Investment Club.

Sue Murphy - Member since 2006

Board member since 2009. Office Manager for the Credit Union since 2009.
Worked for London Transport for 18 yrs and  Crown Estate for 8 yrs.
